“Having a system that is easy to work with and can adapt to the specific needs of a class is invaluable. I work with a number of students who have learning disabilities and special needs. I worked with our Parish online program director, our eDynamic Learning representative, and special education teachers to formulate a plan to accommodate those students so that we could facilitate their learning while setting them up for success. We worked on a plan to modify assignments and oriented observers that could assist the students. This has resulted in faster evaluation of work submitted and better communication between the instructor, observers, and students. The success rate of the students has increased significantly since this collaboration.”

“Teaching is my passion and I have thoroughly enjoyed introducing my students to the IT field using these courses. In the Unit 2 of the Principles of IT course activity, they are asked to create a website using Google Sites. My students loved this activity. In fact, my students were so excited about creating their own websites that they asked if they could share their websites with one another. My students had a blast sharing their websites and were so encouraging to one another. I have had students tell me how much they love my class and they regularly thank me for teaching them. This is what makes my job so rewarding.”

It provides the platform for my success as a teacher. Patient’s families are restricted from entering health care facilities, so volunteering opportunities are sparse. Fortunately, the eDynamic Learning course already has alternate assignments built in for circumstances like these.”

It provides learners the opportunity to develop and grow their communication skills and has helped me to take time and refine my skills to deliver appropriate and worthwhile messages to my students. When students respond to the discussion questions, this gives me an opportunity to engage the students in a personal interaction which opens the dialogue to career-connected learning. “My students love all of the eDynamic Learning elective courses that I teach. I have had many students in each elective say that they either have been exposed to a new career path that they are interested in or that the course actually helped them get into college. Built in features such as the podcasts are also invaluable. Just four weeks ago, I had a student get a concussion. He could not read the computer screen, BUT he could listen to the lesson podcasts. This is a HUGE plus to be able to keep students up and working when normally they would be struggling to catch up 3 weeks later.”
“I don’t have to spend my time creating a viable curriculum or fixing broken links so I’m able to spend my time working with students hand in hand to help them explore different career choices. The eDynamic Learning curriculum allows me to insert myself into the different activities and discussions as I see fit. I’m able to add outside sources when the students do find a career path they find intriguing. The curriculum gives a solid base for the different careers presented to the students, provides thought provoking questions, and asks them to not only go through the activities but to also volunteer in different areas.”
“eDynamic Learning’s Sports and Entertainment Marketing course is so well organized, so I can be organized. I am always on the lookout for news stories or videos to share with my students so that I create an engaging lesson that students will feel involved in, that is part of our curriculum, and challenge them to do the same thing. I have had them send me their favorite Super Bowl ads for Unit 2 and we did a lesson on why they were popular. That content makes it fun for them AND me.”
